Fadette...Congratulations on a baby soon (hopefully!) and your hubby's PhD. But why are you going to chart in the first place? I don't know how regular your cycle is , but most women with a fairly normal cycle can get pregnant very easily within 6 or so months. Just have sex from about days 10-15 every month (well, you don't need to every day, but it's still fun!).

Sometimes TTC can cause anxiety, even for those of us who don't have any fertility problems, and believe me, taking your temperature every morning will cause even more anxiety. With my first, it took us about 4 cycles, and every month I would be so anxious to find out if it was our time. Our 2nd was technically an accident, although we were going to start TTC.

How about trying the old fashioned way until you know if you are having trouble?
