Re: 'Secretly' charting, any suggestions?From: marcia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 16 Mar 2002 09:36:35 -0600 (CST)
I suggest to all my friends who want to conceive in the future that they should begin charting their temp way in advance of the time that they want to get pregnant. This was suggested to me by my best friend who was an infertility patient. I started temping at 36 when I got married. I wanted to get pregnant after a year or so of marriage. Good thing I was charting..... I took my chart into my doc after 6 months or so, and she immediately could see that I would probably have some difficulty getting pregnant. She started working on me right away. (If I didn't have the charts, she would have made me wait until I had charted for 6 months or so.)It was later discovered that I had endo. It was removed, and I got preggers one month later. I am now 39 and am due to have a little boy on March 20th. Just tell your hubby that you are preparing for the future. It could save you some time.... just in case.
