'Secretly' charting, any suggestions?From: Fadette (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 15 Mar 2002 15:14:24 -0600 (CST)
I need some advice and suggestions on how to chart my temperature without my husband noticing. OK, before you accuse me of something, I'm NOT trying to deceive my husband -- read on... My husband is in the final stage of PhD, and we have agreed to start TTC after he graduates. Now, he needs to concentrate on his research, and he'd prefer not to talk about babies (and all the responsibility that comes with it!!!), or be reminded in other ways. Being a student thinking of babies makes him worry about the financial stuff -- even though I make enough money to support a family of 6 or so. I can understant dow worries can distract him from his research, and I'd like to be supportive. On the other hand, I'd like to practice charting BBT, so that I'll be ready when the time is right. So... how can I measure the temperature without him noticing? Is it OK, if I go to the bathroom to measure the temperature? Can I do it in the kitchen while I make the morning coffee? Or do I absolutely have to do it in bed?
