Sorry, this will be graphic but I've never had a period like this. I got my period 3 days late(I'm never late) I had some pregnancy symptoms like bad heartburn for days which I've also never had. It went away the day my period came ,as well as the breast tenderness . My period came suddenly with no warning(I ususally have drown spotting the day before.) It was never brown it was light red for maybe an hour and then turned dark red with these strange clots. If I have clots at other times they are very dark red and kind little globs. I did have some like that(which is unusual for the first day of period) I also had some clots that I've never had before. They were like little shreds of pinkish tan that did not bleed when I pushed them. Some of them were kind of mottled,pink white tan and some were just light pink.It was not mucus like at all, hard to describe but more like little stringy shreds. the biggest one was only about one inch and there were maybe a dozen all together.I also had very bad pain in my lower pelvis and bad back pain. I am still bleeding heavily. I 'm very curious about this, in a year of trying I've never been so sure I was pregnant. I know it's difficult to say but does this sound at all consistent with chemical pregnancy? Is there another possible source or reason for these strange clots? I've never had anyhting other then dark red clots. Sorry for all the detail. Can anyone help? Amy
