Erythromycin oral in 3rd trimester

I read that Erythromycin taken in pregnancy is relatively safe and does not corss the placenta. What concerns me is i am 35 weeks pregnant and am planning on breastfeeding. Everything I read online about Erythromycin says it is excreted in large amounts in breast milk. Also read if breastfeeding one must not use the milk and discard it until Erythromycin treatment is done.

2 questions... If I was to deliver while taking this would it mean I could not breatsfeed right away? Also how long does Erythromycin take to get out of the breastmilk after finishing a dose?

Reason for the prescription is a sinus infection that has not cleared up on its own. I haven't filled it until I am sure what the deal is with this drug.
