I know how you feel and how frustrating this problem is. It took 8-9 months before I could be comfortable during penetration. I only had a second degree tear but it took a very long time to heal. Even when it was completely healed, it hurt alot. I was very sore and tight. I was also bf so lubrication was also a problem. (have you tried astroglide?) As soon as I stopped bf my son at 9 months everything was back to normal. At 5 months my ob prescribed a steroid cream that really did nothing for me. Then my family doctor had me try topical estrogen (cream that I rubbed in the scar and sore spots) and after about a month I saw a big improvement. But, it was only after I stopped bf, that things went back to normal. Talk to your doctor and see if these options are for you. There is hope. You will heal completely. I thought I would never be able to have sex again... now I'm 7 weeks pregnant! Good luck.
