Think of it this way: your odds mean that you have a 0.11% chance of having a Downs syndrome baby and a 99.89% chance of a healthy baby. Feel better? Good luck. By the way with my first son I had odds of 1 in 438 of a spina bifida baby (I was 28) and had a beautiful healthy boy!
