Have Tried To Post This 3 Times - What's Wrong?! Cerclage at 23 weeks & Concerned

On Friday I had just begun my 23rd week of pregnancy and went in for a routine ultrasound (size, age etc.) Well, I was immediately sent to my doctor who told me I had cervical incompetence. The next day I was given a cerclage. I have read the archives and other sites to get more information, but I'd feel much better getting some feedback on my specific situation. My cervix measured 1.52cm but was not quite dilated to 1. I know that is quite short and I know that most women have these done in the 12-16 week range because of previous miscarriages in around the 5th month (my first pregnancy went very well and there was no indication I had ic). Anyway, I'm concerned because my cerclage was put in so much later and that my cervix measured so short. What are the odds that I will be able to carry baby full term with the cerclage? What are the odds that I will be able to carry baby long enough that he will be out of danger? I'm not sure if this is pertinent but I am 34 and have another child who is 11 months old today. Everything went well with the surgery and I feel fine. Doc said I can't go back to work for 2 weeks...it this very necessary? My job is not physical at all. I tend to be one of those people that under-reacts because I've always been very healthy and never expect anything to go wrong, but I don't want to take any chances here. I apologize for rambling...I'm just nervous I guess and the more information I get the better I feel. Thanks for having this site for paranoid mothers like me~ :)
