Hi there, I am 26 weeks and I have those same pains. I had them with my last baby too. But more toward the end with her. This one I have been having a little sciatic nerve pains and the shooting pains down there when the baby gets a kicking, I measured about 5 cm ahead of schedule at my last appt. and my doctor checked me because of my concern of all the pressure and pains I've been having and my cervix is just fine. So, I hope this puts you at a little ease. I'm sure your doctor will check you if they think it is necessary.
