FHR @ 5.5 weeks

I had an u/s done at exactly 5 weeks due to some cramping... everything turned out great. I had some spotting 5 days later and had to go back in for another u/s. I hadn't miscarried and a heartbeat was detected for the first time. It was 83bpm. My ob said that it was on the low side, but she was not concerned because it was still very early. The spotting has sense stopped (possible implantation bleeding). I go back in for another ultrasound on Friday which will put me at 7wks 1day. I have looked at the fhr charts and am still a bit confused... Does a fhr of 83 at this stage signal an impending problem and what should I look for as a normal range at my u/s visit on Friday? I am so concerned even if my doctor doesn't seem to be.
