I was wondering how to go about telling the difference between the plug(or part of it) and the regular heavy discharge one experiences near the end of pregnancy. I am 40+ weeks, and have been having a heavy discharge. Today, however, it gushed out like a glop..I am embarassed to say this, but it looked like a bunch of snot! It was light brown, thick like my discharge, and sticky, leaving a spot about the size of a half dollar on my pants.. Is it likely that this was part of my plug, or is it more likely that it is my regular discharge, just discolored because of an internal exam yesterday? Thank-you...
