conflicting informationFrom: M.M. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 9 Mar 2002 12:23:53 -0600 (CST)
My doctor told me that I should wait about 3 months after my miscarriage(which occurred 2.5 weeks after conception) before I try to conceive again. Dr.'s reasoning is that another conception so soon will more likely end in another miscarriage because my "hormones are still haywire." The archives here say that it's okay to start trying again 2 weeks after, as long as you're emotionally ready. I'm ready, and anxious because I've heard that fertility actually increases in the few months following a miscarriage. Is that a myth? And should I wait a few months to try again, or find a new doctor right now?
