Hi. I've had a cervix check at 37wks and 36wks, and have experienced so much pain!! I know the area of my vulva has been completely red and swollen for months, but at cervical exams around 32 wks, they didn't hurt! Is this extreme pain in exams normal in this late of a pregnancy, or is it a bad sign? When they touch my cervix to check for dilation, I can't help but scream! Also, how squeze a baby through if a finger won't even fit??
