I just found out that I am neg for cystic fibrosis but pos for 5-t allele(sp?). I spoke to my Dr. who is sending my husband and I to a genetic specialist. He told me not to worry about it, since they have been testing for cystic fibrosis, many of these little adendums have cropped up. He says it's precautionary. I was just wondering if if anyone could give me more info on the 5-t allele mutation. I'm really trying hard not to worry.

Thank you so much.
