Reproductive Endocrinologist vs. regular ob/gyn

I'm looking for a new gynecologist. Dr Braun recommended to pick a
ReproductiveEndocrinologist.
But, REs treat infertility. I don't know yet whether I'm infertile.
We're still in the pre-conception phase, trying to get all the
immunizations and other stuff ready.
Now, suppose everything goes fine and I end up pregnant without
problems. Would an RE see me through pregnancy? Or would they tell me
to find an obstetritian?
Wouldn't it make more sense to find a good ob/gyn, and then get referred
to an RE if things don't work out in a few months?
