Low Fluid and Measuring SmallFrom: Carrie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Feb 2002 08:52:20 -0600 (CST)
I have measured small (3-4 cm) since 30 weeks and have had two u/s-one at 31w and one at 34.5 to check growth and fluid which have all been fine. Movement had been normal. At my 37w5d I measured 34 so they did another u/s. Fluid was 7.0-they said 7.3 was the normal cutoff but I was only slightly off. Resp. movements were seen on u/s and growth was OK, weight was 6lbs. They followed up with a NST which came back normal. They are doing another NST at 38w2d and a follow up u/s at 38w6d. Do these fluid levels seem highly abnormal? What can cause this? Do you think the midwife's treatment protocol is on target? Thanks...nervous!
