I was 7 weeks when I had a d&c (01/23/02). 11 days later, my hcg was checked and was 24000, 3 weeks after my d&c it was 17000. (The pathology report said it was not a partial molar, they did dna testing for that) At four weeks after my d&c, I went to the ER because of hemorrhaging. My hcg was 5000. They did a ultrasound and thought that I had an ectopic, and then said it was a corpus leutem cyst. Then they said I was miscarrying and need to have a d&c. When I said that I had already had a d&c, they sent me home and told me it had to be my period because my uterus was clear. Do I need to get a second opinion? Everytime I called the doctor about my hcg, they said don't worry, it will go down. Then after the hospital episode, I am scared to go back for anything. I feel like everybody thinks I am crazy, but I just don't feel right. It has been almost five weeks after my d&c, I am still bleeding, (not hemorrhaging), and still have a positive pregnancy test. I have not had sex, so I know that I could not be pregnant again.
