Not sure what the docs opinions would be. I too have big babies, and wouldn't worry too much. Also wanted to let you know that ultrasounds can only predict +/- one pound. Your dr. must not be too worried, I am sure he has assessed your pelvis size, or would be considering inducing. I am normally a size 4/6 and weigh 115 and have delivered two baies one 8 lbs. 12 oz, and one 9 lbs 7 oz, both with no complications. I am currently 38 weeks and measure 43 weeks, but u/s leads us to believe baby will be 8.5 to 9.0 at 40 weeks. I think the wait and see attitude of your dr. is great. I know you are nervous, it gets pretty emotional towards the end. Only going through labor and assessing whether the baby will fit will you then know. Also, my babies have been the identical sizes of my mothers babies, consider the size of you and your siblings and likely yours could be quite similar. Good Luck and hang in there.
