Hello, I've been on 30 mg of Paxil for about 2 years and I have been unsuccessful at trying to take myself off or even going to a lower dose. My husband and I would like to start a family but worried about the side effects of Paxil on a baby. I know if I were to get pregnant I would have to stay on 30 mg at least, is this too much and be too harmful on the baby? I've talked to my doctor and she says that Paxil seems like to best medicine for me. I wanted to ask if there is another drug you would recommend that deals with anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder that would be less harmful to a baby that I could try. I've heard Zoloft seems to be safe but I'm not sure if this would deal with my disorders I have and would like to hear what someone else has to say. Thanks for answering my questions, Holly
