Re: 3 wks post D&E and hcg is 5,000 - Dr. Montgomery

I just had a repeat lab that showed that my hcg level (48 hours later) is still at 5,000. My RE thinks that I might have a tubal pregnancy (in addition to the pregnancy that was removed from the uterus over 3 weeks ago.) If this is not a tubal and possibly a molar, would a molar show up on the ultra-sound? Also, I have had 3 D&E (not D&C's) because I have had the tissue biopsied each time because of recurrent miscarriage my RE explained the difference to me.
