You had a D&C, not a D&E. As for the HCG, it is certainly unusual for the value to still be up. One would have to consider four things. First, there was some "molar" tissue as part of the pregnancy. Second, you are pregnant again (doesn't seem very likely). Third, there was some placental tissue retained in the uterus following the procedure-this should show up on the ultrasound now. Fourth, there was an error in the lab... Lynn
