Cervical or vaginalFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 21 Feb 2002 06:12:55 -0600 (CST)
I have been having some vaginal pains. When I read the archives, some of the dr's make it sound like it's a complete emergency because it could be your cervix, while others attribute it to round ligament pain or the baby sitting on a nerve. My dr. said that as long as I am not having cramping or leaking fluid, not to worry.(Which I have not done). Do you agree with this? He says vaginal pains are normal. My other question is that some people talk about cervical pain. How would I know if this pain is coming from the cervix vs. the vagina???? I am 23 weeks, and don't want to create a problem that doesn't exist... I do go back to the dr. on Monday. Thank you.
