I am sorry to "monopolize" this board, this past pregnancy & consequent miscarriage has really been a harrowing experience in spite of the fact that this was the 5th mc. I had posted last week that 10 days post D&E that I was having "gushes" of blood & a few clots. In the past 10 days, I had 7 of these sudden & heavy bleeds. I returned to my RE today in order to have an ultrasound. He said that my uterus looked normal but that my fibroid, that is in the wall of my uterus, was larger. As a precaution, before I left, they did a hcg test on me. When I got home, the doctor called and said that it was at 5,000~3 weeks post D&E. I had miscarried right at 7 weeks so it is baffling as to why this number is still so high. I am repeating the beta on Friday but I am at a loss as to why this could be happening. Do you have any thoughts? Thank-you.
