Re: 26 weeks, question about showing and fetal heart rate

Not a doctor, but also a smaller person (well, I'm tall, but there's not much to me).

I am pregnant with my fourth child, and I get that all the time- I measure just fine for dates, and baby is doing well, but with this pregnancy, as with my others, I just don't look overwhelmingly pregnant, and people comment on how I "can't be that far along". I just carry all baby, right in the front.

Just smile and say- "thanks- I think I look pretty good!"

And I'm sure a doctor will correct me if I'm wrong, but 140 is a terrfic heart rate, and there isn't as much beat variability with movement until later in your pregnancy- around 32 weeks or so, when you start getting more dips and rises with movement.

You sound like you're just doing great, and you don't sound all that different than me...if that's worth anything.....

Hope that helps. Jessica
