In both of my pregnancys they could detect a heartbeat, or more of a flicker at exactly 6 weeks. At the same time my girlfriend had an US at 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat, but when she went back the next week there was a heartbeat. All babies develop differently. Good Luck, and I am sure everyyhing will be fine.
