I am 19 wks pregnant and a 10 cm ovarian cyst was recently discovered. My OB gave me two options. Have surgery to remove it in 4-6 weeks, or schedule a cesarean section at term and have it removed then. I am concerned with fetal descent being obstructed during labor and preterm labor as a result of the cyst. I am also extremely concerned with the safety of the baby if I were to have surgery now. Help?
