Protein in urine

I just had a urine analysis dipstick done and the nurse said that I had a trace of protein in the urine, any other (leukocytes, blood, nitrates, were not present).

They will be sending it out for a culture. I am 22 weeks pregnant, and have a history of uti.

I have been on prophylactic Macrobid, but realize that I could have become resitant.

Does this trace of protein sound like an infection?

I have been having lower back pain on my right side. If back pain is persistent in one spot, does that sound liek a uti rather than normal pregnancy pains?

Also, they said that they wouldn't get the culture back til probably Thursday or so. Am I okay til then if it is an infection?

Thank you.
