HI. I know this is probably a hard question to answer, but I am currently 3 cm dialated and 70% effaced and have lost my plug. I had some measurable contractions two days ago that were increasing in intensity and frequency but petered out after about 40 minutes. I have alot of pressure in my lower back and the odd contraction, but nothing regular. My question is when someone reaches this point, in your experience, do women usually go into labor within days? Or could I end up waiting another week or so? My doc thought I would start labor in about two days or so. My husband took time off work to stay home with me and we are wondering if he should just go back in to work or continue to stay home.Thanks in advance!
