If water ruptures, make a trip to L&D. This is for your safety, and the babies. The cord COULD prolapse and you would need to get checked to make sure that isn't the case. After being checked, if you aren't in labor, or in a good enough labor pattern.. drs could do several things: start pitocin (if cervix is ready), send you home, send you walking or just keep you there and watch you and baby on the monitor.
