IMHO: forget calling L&D, and GO THERE! With the contractions you have been having, it's hard to say if you are dilating or not. Some drs dont want to "fiddle" with the cervix, as it can sometimes get things going. I am sure you know that. :) You could try to increase your fluid intake, and see if that helps some with the bh contractions. If all else fails, and you feel uncomfortable.. hop in the car and make a visit to L & D. Trust me, they would rather have you walk in there in "false labor" than sit at home and dilate at 30 weeks.
