Paola, Here are two more links for you to consider. Sounds like the condition is highly treatable with appropriate pre-natal care and surgery after the delivery. In fact, one of those baby shows on The Learning Channel included a story about a baby with this condition whose bowels and stomach were surgically re-inserted into the abdominal cavity following delivery. The little I've read makes it sound like the outcome for these babies is generally pretty good. I'm not a doctor, politician or religeous person so I don't feel justified in commenting on the decision you face. It sounds like you have to do a whole lot of research and soul-searching, perhaps you could get yet another opinion from a specialist in your area? Good luck to you and your family. http://umm.drkoop.com/conditions/ency/article/000992.htm http://www.vh.org/Providers/TeachingFiles/CAP/Case19/Case19.html http://www.babyzone.com/features/glossary/default.asp?TermID=231
