U/S Reassurance PleaseFrom: Lisa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 8 Feb 2002 15:44:20 -0600 (CST)
Well, I just got the results of our third (and last) u/s and just wanted some reassurance from the docs, if possible. BTW, we've had 3 u/s as we lost twins in 2000 to a twin-partial molar and therefore, are classified high-risk. Findings follow for the u/s at which I was 21w-4d: BPD: 52mm = 21w/5d HC: 188mm = 21w/1d AC: 172mm = 22w/1d FL: 37mm = 21w/5d Average of 21w/5d Also, as at last appointment (at 18w-5d), I had only gained 2lbs total. Is this indicative of a problem or just an indication that the weight I gained with the twins makes it unnecessary to gain as much weight this time as I did with my son (gained 40lbs with full-term son). Thank you very much for your time, experience and advice. Sincerely, Lisa P. (paranoid as usual lol)
