I have had 3 successful pregancies and with my 1st, I had terrible heartburn every day before I was even late. Also, I was in the midst of planning my wedding and again (before I was even late) I tried on my wedding dress one last time just for grins and giggles and the zipper split, because my breast size had increased so much. I hadn't gained an ounce. With my 2nd, I was merely late and didn't experience any symptoms that were noticable until I was 8 weeks. Being late is what prompted me to take the test and also because we had tried to get pg that month. With my 3rd, I was not late yet, when I kept getting symptoms about every other day that felt like I had a stomache bug. It would last for several hours and then just stop completely. I dare say that each pregnancy, even with the same woman can be so totally different and the lack of any symptoms certainly doesn't mean that you are definately not pg. Being late was the biggest reassurance for me, but then again, some women can have what appears to be a fairly normal cycle and still be pg. I am currently ttc again after 13 years from my last pg and I have had so many "phantom" pg's that it isn't funny. So again, the only thing that will convince me is if I'm late or I get a positive hpt. Good luck to you.
