Kelly Shanahan, MD, FACOG: "Re: clomid and low sperm count" I had a spontaneous miscarriage last may.I was 8 weeks(only gestational sac and yolk sac).ttc for about 2yrs.I got pregnant the first time on clomid.I also took prometrium from day 21 of cycle(because my progesterone in one of my previous cylcle was 5ng). Trying to conceive naturally but has'nt worked.My dh has low sperm count(blood work and u/s is fine).He has been asked to take clomid 25mg. My worry is should i take clomid and try again on concieving with dh sperm count low.May be it will work out this time or wait 3 months see if count improves and then take clomid.
