pregnancy symptoms, negative test, more symptoms AFTER period help!

i have been having pregnancy symptoms for a few weeks now. if i am pregnant, monday will be exactly 4 weeks from conception. i was on the pill until about 2 weeks ago, when i first suspected i was pregnant and therefore stopped taking the pill. when i stopped taking the pill, as usual, i had a period.

before the pill-induced period, i had increased appetite, fatique, frequent urination. afterwards, i had all that, plus heartburn, swollen/sensitive breasts, and this heavy/full feeling in my lower abdomen that nothing (not burping, going to the bathroom, or passing gas eliminates). this past tuesday i noticed my lower abdomen was sticking out (i am a petite woman). kinda rounded, definitely below the navel, to the point where some of my pants are finally starting to fit all the way around. i also can not abide any tight clothing around my breasts or belly, so much so that i haven't even worn my bras in two days. this morning i tried one on, and it was so tight the material was pulling away from the seam.

i took a hpt tonight and it was negative. if i am not pregnant, what could possibly be causing this? i normally have an irregular cycle (2-3 periods a year), and having been taking levlite as my bcp since last summer. january was a month, though, where i was constantly taking pills late or forgetting to take them.

please let me know what you think; i have already scheduled a doctor's appt.
