Sorry to ask a gross question, but I really am scared! I'm 35 wks. Just last Fri, I was at the ob's and asked about the vaginal area swelling I've been experiencing, as well as the increased white/clear discharge. I was looked at and he said all was normal, due to pressure. But, now I'VE looked! I shouldn't have! The whole area is purple, veigns are bulging out in the perineal area, and ..scariest of all..half (one side) of my vaginal opening is purple and is sticking out of the vaginal lips/labia! One side is inside, and one side is long, purple, and out!! I am very tender and sore down there, I have a burning sensation, but things have been like this for a while and they always say its ok. I'm just wondering... what could cause ONE side of the opening to stick out? Could my group b strep test have aggravated things? It's been worse since the test. THanks!
