here's a second opinion -- print this out for your future hubby: You can try to get pregnant RIGHT NOW, and recent use of the pill will NOT harm the baby >

good luck with your m,arriage -- and with pregnancy. And your doc is right, you don't have a lot of time to waste, as fertility declines and risks of chromosomal abnormalities increase with age
