I am unaware of any studies done on the effects of eating either Hot Dogs or Kielbasa during pregnancy. Same holds true for vegetables, beef, dairy products etc. I have no idea whether or not it is OK to eat anything at all. But, since not eating is real bad for a pregnancy, we need to struggle along the best we can. Moderration is a good rule to follow. I doubt that 1 kielbasa during a pregnancy would be harmful(leastwise, so that we would notice) Same holds true for 1 glass of wine. But 2 glasses of wine everyday during the pregnancy have been shown to be enough to cause a measurable problem.
