Kindly, holly Hi, Holly - I'm not a doc, but thought I'd give you the names of some other tests which I've been having as part of an initial workup for recurrent m/cs (I, too, have two children but then had two m/cs in a row). I had an endometrial biopsy to correlate lining thickness to a particular day in my cycle. I'm due to have a hysteroscopy on Friday which is basically a camera looking around the inside of the uterus for fibroids, scarring, infection - any of which they said could have occurred since my last child was born 4 years ago. With blood tests, they tested my FSH (which shows whether you have good egg production), prolactin, TSH (which I believe is the thyroid scan), HIV, a couple of different types of hepatitis tests, lupus, antiphosphidlipid antibodies, genetic karyotypes (on both my dh and I), estradiol, and maybe a few other things for good measure - I just can't remember. Basically, my RE says she performs all of those tests as an initial workup whenever anyone has recurrent m/cs. Good luck, Alison
