Hi, I really appreciate the time you put into this board, it helps us in so many ways...This is my second cycle of clomid. The first month, my period was light but on days 7-10, I was still having blood tinged mucuous. I o'd on day 21, which made my luteal phase about 10days (never happened before). My current cycle, I am on day 9, and I am still having blood tinged mucuous with some periods of "old" blood spotting. 1)Could this mean that I am trying to build an adequate lining but I have a decrease in progesterone that's making it impossible? 2)Is this why I am spotting or is it a common effect of clomid? I am on 50mg, cycle 3-7 for irregular periods (28-77 days).. no hormonal defect. I am not being monitored. I will call my OB on Monday, but I just wanted to your opinion. I am currently using the fertility monitor. Thanking you in advance for your help.
