UTIs are not normally sexually transmitted, at least not in the traditional sense. Your symptoms do sound a lot like a UTI, so call your doc and get him/her to help you out before your exam next week. Bleeding can mess up your pap, but not usually your urine culture, at least not unless you are just flat flooding.
