I am wondering if its possible to try a vaginal birth with an epidural but if I somehow needed a c-section later, can the epidural be turned into a spinal for the section? Epidural's are horribly always patchy but we get along the best we can. I do not want a c-section with an epidural. I know I can not have a spinal and still push if I want a vaginal.

Any insights
