My life such as it is....

For those that have been following and for those that haven't... I have a question...

Last Monday I had what I thought to be a faint positive on an hpt. Now it could be that I wanted it so bad that my eyes deceived me... that Thursday my hcg level was 1--- how does that even register??? don't know.

Anyway, my question is, since I haven't started my period, is there a chance that the hcg level was very very very early pregnancy? My doctor didn't feel the need to send me back for a followup. Should I retest with an hpt? or just wait to see if 9 months from now I double over with pain and a wailing baby comes out????

I wish I had insight into how my body is working at the moment.... Okay really maybe there wasn't a reasonable question to ask...but it helps to ramble sometimes....
