Not a doc but I posted a similar question at the beginning of my pregnancy and Dr. Wang wrote back that HCGs should AT LEAST double - your's is not greatly in excess of what it should be - sounds like the start of a healthy pregnancy! By the way, at that time I was told that mine had gone from 64 to 1300 in two days - and noone was concerned. Turns out there was a lab error, but still went to 230 - more than doubled - had a great u/s at 22 weeks. IF the u/s was able to detect a change in 2 days sounds like things are progressing well. Ask for another u/s in a week, should be able to see the fetal pole and hopefully a heartbeat by then.

Good luck!
