31+ weeks, pelvis feels like it's splitting in halfFrom: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 21 Jan 2002 15:58:05 -0600 (CST)
I'm 31w1d w/#3. I feel as if the baby's hanging between my knees and that I'm sitting directly on her head. When I stand up, it's as if she'll drop right out. Incredible pelvic pressure ALL THE TIME but no cervical changes per weekly exam. How can this possibly be normal? Also, my pelvic bone feels as if it will separate any moment. It's incredibly sore directly between my legs (sorry) and also at the area where my thighs meet my pelvis. Am I simply too old for this child-bearing thing (almost 36), is this a third-baby phenom, or could something be wrong? The pressure has been there for months but the splitting-pelvis thing is new. Doctor's appointment Wed. Thanks
-- Kim
