Hi, I also have PCOS and IR. I was on glucophage when I concieved, and my inferitity dr. tookme off them as soon as I found out that I was pregnant. Since I was going to infer. dr. I didn't go see an ob until the dr. saw the heartbeat which was at 6 weeks then as he said graduated me to my ob. In turn my ob watched me very well, if you have PCOS with IR your body tends to become diabetic so I had to do insulin for 4 months of the pregnancy.

I had progesterone cream through my last pregnancy and through this one in fact I just got off it at 13w. I would really pursue your ob and ask him to check your progesterone levels, they tend to be low with PCOS, not with everyone but you want to check. And make sure your behind your ob. Let him know your concerns. IS this your first baby. This is my 4th pregnancy, I have had a stillborn and two premature babies. The dr. is even seeing every two weeks instead of once a month. If you would like to email me at home faussetja@aol.com feel free. It would be nice to keep and touch.
