LMP was approximately 12/15/01. Pregnancy test at family dr's office showed positive on 1/16/01. Dr. gave a referral to Ultrasound and to OB/GYN. Went in the next day for ultasound--sonographer sd couldn't see anything and had Radiologist look at pic's. Then came back in and told me I needed to go immediately to my regular Dr's office--no appt--my Dr. was expecting me. I went right over and the Dr. called me into her office and told me that I had an ectopic pregnancy the radiologist says no yolk sak showing. In uterus mass showing in tube. Dr sd I needed to go the the OB/GYN office immediately that they were going to hospitalize me immediately so they could do surgery to remove my tube. WHAT??? So I went immediately to the OB/GYN office--OB did exam--sd he didn't feel anything and wanted to do blood tests to check HCG. HCG and Progesterone done on 1/17/01. HCG level was 475 and Progesterone level was 34.6. Had another HCG done on 1/19/01 and it was 947.

Having BAD lower back pain (but not all the time) other than that I feel totally fine.

I had previously had problems with VERY heavy periods for about 3yrs after going off of Depo Provera and my Dr. sd I might have endometriosis. Scared! I need to know if you think its ectopic--cant get back in at OB until 1/24/01. Would like to have a little peace of mind. Thank YOU Mickie
