22 weeks pg and dischargeFrom: shpe (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 18 Jan 2002 19:53:58 -0600 (CST)
I know this question has been beat to death, but I am 22 weeks pg and today I have enough milky watery discharge to keep me wet. I went to see a doc. today because of ligament pain and the discharge, but it wasn't my doc and I have questions about it. He felt my cervix and said it was high, hard and closed. We didn't do a urine test to rule out a uti because I peed before she told me to save it, but I have no symptoms of a uti. When I told him about the watery discharge he said he assumed it was urine leakage. I told him I knew it wasn't because it was milky and had no odor. He said he didn't notice any abnormal amounts of fluid when he did the internal exam so he didn't think it was anything to worry about. Im worried that I am leaking amninotic fluid. Why did he not do a litmus test to make sure? Is he sure it isn't amniotic fluid because of the way my cervix felt? Your input is appreciated! Shelly
