Resuming Relations and C-Section

Before I begin, let me take a moment to say that Yes, I have searched the archives, only to find conflicting information - one says NO, sex until 6 weeks, others say it is okay.

I am young healthy 24 had c-section after failed induction (did not dilate EVEN ONE CM, doc said he couldn't even get the tip of his finger in cervix after 13 hours of contractions) and pre-eclampsia. So c-section. Feel Like I have recovered almost completely from actual incision, but my doctor won;t say anything but "wait until 6 weeks".

I have heard other people say you can wait until you just stop bleeding?

Advise please? I am not worried about the stress to me, I am rested, or about getting pregnant again so soon, will be careful. Just want to make sure I am not going to somehow tear out stiches or something internally??

Please advise if sex after bleeding stops is okay without busting something inside. (I know this sounds ignorant, but I reallyl don;t know).

Thanks. Leila S.

(and new mom to Khalil 6lbs 5 oz, born at 37.5 weeks VERY HEALTHY and fine) =)
