the truth about caffiene?

I've read so much conflicting info on relationship between caffience and miscarriage and ttc, etc.

Are there any other women out there who were having difficulty conceiving, but achieved pregnancy after giving up caffeine?

Is caffeine associated with early miscarriage or failed implantation? And if so, is it because of the constriction effect of caffeine on blood vessels?

I have dramatically cut back my caffiene intake (which never before interfered with conception of 3 children), but so far without success. I have 2 cups of half-caffienated coffee in the a.m., and 1 32 oz diet soda in the afternoon (trust me, this is cutting back!).

But given that we've had 2 chemcial prengnancies, and nothing else is wrong (all tests normal) (other than my age, 38), I"m wondering if I should completely cut out the caffeine. Which would be VERY difficult to do! But I'm looking for some incentive here that it might actually really work... Anybody?

(My diet and exercise is otherwise excellent. Caffiene is my one and only vice)
